Let me preface this critique by saying that I love your style and look at your work on a regular basis...but the fifth panel in its finished state is really difficult to decipher. I knew it was violence, but not until I looked at the step-by-step did I realize that the wolf was cutting off the guys head.

I understand the confusion, but you have to keep in mind that the pages is far from over. I'll eventually draw the head, wich will sure help. ;)
And probably play with blood splaters to give the sense of motion. I often go for radical change along the process, so don't be suprise if you don't reconize the pages when It'll be finish.
